They do look pretty good Greg, I have to say. Your right though, with my milage, condition and the FHSH I'm trying to keep it as unaltered as I possible can. I think that is where the value will be down the road and, at the end of the day, Honda didn't make a bad job of it in the first place.

Cheers Patch, thanks for the Possitive comment.

Yesterday, saw the final part of my plans, or so I thought, which was fitting the wheels after their refurb.
I also got rid of the cheap and cheerful tyres on the front and fitted matching pair of Avon's.

The were done at Platinum wheel refurbs at Swindon, and they always do a great job. It does mean I end up doing 400 miles over two weekends dropping them off and picking them up but there is nowhere like it locally to me, to my knowledge.

I have gone for a slightly lighter silver than was on their originally. With the original colour and a bit of brake dust they looked a very similar colour to cosmic grey paint work and to my eyes not good. The up shot of this is the centre caps no longer match the new paint, so some Honda rage centre caps, that look like spun aluminiumm, are on there way to sort that out.

lovely finish!

Once I have the new centre caps I will take pictures of them on the car.
