Bonjour Mr. CoopedUp

Now Citroen C4 free I guess I can now dispense with the annoying 'Hello Hello' French verbage.
There is quite a lot of of hard work going on behind the scenes at present. Whether it is good remains to be seen.

Good morning ManOpener
Funny you should ask about the Mongrel. Still debating its fate.
Lots of M.O.T left so I may well start using it again.

In fact I wandered over to the UK MkIV forum with a technical question.
Some helpful answers on the subject of a DIY spring replacement but there then followed some bickering on time and tools.

In the spirit of being a nice car bloke I thanked them and left a small gift.
Haven't heard word since. Ingrates.

You're on the right lines. A trifle more down market but the Chapman Special D.N.A is there.
It won't manage T to B.S.E to your standard but its heart is in the right place.
Regardless I'm naming it in your honour.

Cheers, Whatty.

PS. I'm not never leaving Norfolk alive again after this last move bor......

The moving bit will be a cinch Mr Coopedup. Its getting the current occupant out we're struggling with.

Incomer has forward motion c/o Zetec with added value by kind permission of Mr. J. Envey.
Who ever he is.

On safari to Suffolk in the Bighorn.

Tis the season for oilseed raipe.
A sea of yellow hayfever.

Continual stops for photo opps.

Close, just a Chunnel ride away.
Although its not on the local signposts.

Having been absent so long I am really struck by the number of cyclists I see in the U.K.
Donning peloton style lycra on New Jersey roads is tantamount to signing your own death certificate.

Thank you Mr.Coopedup.

There should be just time for one last mini adventure on PH before the packing boxes descend upon us.

Tonight though Ms. Whatty and I will celebrate by dining out locally.
Yummy and under the gaze of some calendar girls.

c/o Pirelli.

Cheers, Whatty.

Early O' clock.

Only the best for my gal Mr CoopedUp.
Nicks Diner, Deopham.

Beer, burgers and a bevy of beauties on the wall.
Nice drive over as well.

Old Norfolk proverb:

Red sky at night, shepherds delight.
Red sky in the morning. Your barn's on fire.

May 6th.

House of Whatty
Norfolk.

Dear Lady-in-Lowestoft

You don't know me and I doubt very much we will ever meet.
By way of explanation, we're buying the house from the people buying yours.

I understand that you are reluctantly relinquishing your abode as the result of your divorce.
Very sorry that things didn't work out for you and your husband - tricky thing marriage.
Obviously times like these are very emotional. Pretty was she? The 'other woman'?

Not sure what motivated you to agree a price, some months back, vacate the property and then attempt further negotiations?
A chance perhaps to piss your ex off perhaps?

At this late juncture I would ask you to remember the old adage 'money talks - bullst walks'.

Today is the day. Get thee to thy solicitors, sign the contract and bugger off.

Cheers, Whatty.

I leave you with an appropriately PH themed tune.
