Serious step backward on the van, went for an MOT again and the garage were not happy with the standard of work, poked more holes right next to patches welded right on the seatbelt mount and the same on the underside of the van.
The van went to the bodyshop for another day for them to sort the problems and then it came back to me...
Working shifts I still hadn't had chance to look the van over in the cold light of day, which I managed to on Friday.
To cut a long story short, we found a great number of things wrong with the van, which I wont list, and ended up having to take the van back AGAIN to the body shop and fight my corner. It will be going back in again to have much of the work which was meant to be done properly first time...done again.
First task thought is to get it though an MOT which HOPEFULLY should be done by the end of Jan, we shall see.
Had some sleepless nights recently because of this and just feeling soured by the whole experience, hopefully all will be resolved soon.
Cursed this van is.

About time I updated this! Finally got it on the road, back and forth to the bodyshop a few times and happy finally.

Then spent the last bank holiday in mid-west wales for a big shakedown journey.
All the newly rewired camper electrics work fantastic , the fridge gets the cider ice cold and the hobs get the bacon and eggs nicely fried.
Hes getting a clutch an four rear cv joints this week and that should be getting towards the end of the seemingly endless list of jobs so its ready for Goodwood FOS camping in june; cant wait.

Figured I'd update this!
Got a separate topic running on the fiesta so won't mention that but the van has come and been a long way since we get it on the road!
Polished up ready for Busfest, after a week in wales
GOodwood FOS 2015
Two weeks bumming it around cornwall
Lazy days in Bala.
On the road
Long way from home
More of sunny cornwall
Not without its troubles. New cylinder head, exhaust manifold and recon turbo needed. Manifold has been bodged in the past and we were the unlucky ones that the bodge failed on, pitting the cylinder head, and snapping studs in the process. Brand new head, recon turbo and manifold, cambelt and water pump and away we go.
Still gets used as a Van
This brings us up to date, a photo any classic car owner fears....MOT time.
But we got a pass no problems!
Looking forward to more adventurers this year.
