I owned two cars for about 3 weeks last year.

Behold, a garage to strike fear into any man!

The whole household all together now for a group pic, they all had the same tyres when this picture was taken. Which is also why I think it was taken.

I'm new on here, but here's my lady. My second year of driving, and my second car. Bought recently for an absolute song, I love this thing. Reasonably sensible car, but I'm hoping to turn it into a (tastefully done) VRS replica once I'm earning a bit more money - I'm struggling to just keep it maintained at the moment. First thing would be to raise the coilies up a bit, looks silly low at the moment. I've also gone round and replaced a few knackered bits of trim etc., with a couple more on the list, just to keep it tidy and standard.

I love skodas(modern ones) since they are owned by the VW group they have become nice sensible cars. Send me a photo (to my email) when you do the VRS replica.(my email is zacharysiddy@hotmail.co.uk)
Cheers, ZNS

Is it an Elegance or an L&K? They are bargains atm and the insurance was dirt cheap for me on a 1.8t, going in a similar direction, I've got the VRS front brakes on mine and rears are waiting for a spare day to fit them. A 30mm drop so it at least sort of sits like the VRS even on 16s with the normal front bumper and no spoiler.

Elegance -you can tell because the L&Ks had different alloys, in anthracite IIRC.
The insurance on this was less than my Fabia 1.4 cost me last year, and this is with mods declared (coilies), so can't complain too much.
I think the VRS had the same ride height as the standard models - 17" alloys just filled the arches a little better.
Rear spoiler is top of the list for this one - only the small standard one. I know it won't do anything really, I really don't like the standard rear end on these things though, looks a bit too bland.
