I've only had the Golf for a week and I'm loving it, however with all the driver aids it's a world away from a Mk1
The Lupo on the other hand (which is the wife's really) is much closer to what the MK 1 was, only with much better brakes!
You my sir, sir are a lucky man to own both.

last dyno came in at 517hp... the car has had some pretty extreme exhaust mods so id guess at around 530ish on v-power, the supercharger setup in general is further modded from the stock stage 2 kit.

its ballistic when you rev it out to 7900, but due to the very nature of the a centrifugal s/c just basically feels a like a big motor swap,strangely the tyres slip in the 5/6k rpm range.... it can feel abit hairy at this point but it sounds absolutely delicious on boost in the high rev range !!!!!! I bet that goes!!!!!!
