Should be a few other little trick parts for 2015!
May go solid lifters for 8500rpm, do away with chargecooler and look at engineering a rear mount Garrett cored intercooler.
In-between another wee baby arriving and travelling with work!

Thank youCheers
I've only had the Golf for a week and I'm loving it, however with all the driver aids it's a world away from a Mk1
The Lupo on the other hand (which is the wife's really) is much closer to what the MK 1 was, only with much better brakes!
You my sir, sir are a lucky man to own both.

Nice E46! Love the colour, is it a wrap?
Hi mate, Thanks, Nope, original colour, Laguna Seca Blue, with matching leather.Although I hurt it on a brick wall down the n/s so will need that side re-spraying, so working all hours to save up for that! (and 2 new rear tyres which it seems to like!)
Cheers.

Cool, I have never seen an E46 in that colour. good look with saving up! The black really sets that blue off! Could I have some pics of the interior, front and engine bay?
Cheers.
Sure, Not the best pics, as haven't got any recent ones, butCheers.
Not sure where my decent pics are, certainly not on this PC! That was over a year ago now.
Cheers

I'm new on here, but here's my lady. My second year of driving, and my second car. Bought recently for an absolute song, I love this thing. Reasonably sensible car, but I'm hoping to turn it into a (tastefully done) VRS replica once I'm earning a bit more money - I'm struggling to just keep it maintained at the moment. First thing would be to raise the coilies up a bit, looks silly low at the moment. I've also gone round and replaced a few knackered bits of trim etc., with a couple more on the list, just to keep it tidy and standard.
I love skodas(modern ones) since they are owned by the VW group they have become nice sensible cars. Send me a photo (to my email) when you do the VRS replica.(my email is zacharysiddy@hotmail.co.uk)Cheers, ZNS

last dyno came in at 517hp... the car has had some pretty extreme exhaust mods so id guess at around 530ish on v-power, the supercharger setup in general is further modded from the stock stage 2 kit.
Yikes !!!!!! I bet that goes!!!!!!Edited by Beedub on Tuesday 27th January 20:07

its ballistic when you rev it out to 7900, but due to the very nature of the a centrifugal s/c just basically feels a like a big motor swap, strangely the tyres slip in the 5/6k rpm range.... it can feel abit hairy at this point but it sounds absolutely delicious on boost in the high rev range Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
