Yes, only been that one day, but hope to make a few trips there this year, was a much faster track than I was expecting, very well suited to the GT3 RS, but the 458 would probably be on the big side
Definitely. Opposite issue with the Indy which is perfect for Cadwell and Oulton Park, less so for the bigger circuits. Doesn't have the top end legs for them.

It's a tad interesting in the wet, no windscreen, doors or roof and on semi slick tyres....bloody cold too. I bought a waterproof overall biker suit thingy the weekend after this and it hasn't rained a single time I've been since. Sods law.

Only the classic Abarth is mine. My friend is Italian car mad. 2 Pandas, 2 modern Abarths, Alfa Spider and an Alfa 75 made up like a touring car in his garage.

We did a race to John O Groats and back (from Leeds) last year for charity, 7 cars all under £200, that I organise and he went in that blue Panda.

As an aside, can someone please explain why people often blank-out their numberplates on photos... Do people nick or damage cars posted on PH based solely upon what the plates are rather than what the actual car is?

Years ago I had a fiat punto sporting (i know i know), but I stuck it up for sale on Autotrader and added pictures without covering the plates.

Only 2 days later I had a call from Manchester police (I lived in Harrogate at the time), asking about my whereabouts etc. After a short conversation they soon realised that my plates had been cloned and used for some minor crime / offence (they never did elaborate).

Ever since, for me its just easier to cover them up. Can't exactly drive around like that in public though can you :-P!

My mk5 Golf GTI. 200 bhp, 30+ mpg and space to put the mtb in the back! Had a few turbo issues and the interior is bloomin rattly, but it is a great car!

Another excellent choice. Do you have a complete or ultimate collection in your mind, or is this a fluid collection you are building?

Looks great! What are they like, what MPG do they get, how do they drive and in an estate version do you think it would fit my whole family (of which there are five of us.) and a boot full of shopping?
The reason I am asking is that my Peugeot 406 Estate blew up yesterday, and I need a load lugger.
Cheers!

Hi CoolFool, yes the estate will be enormous, the saloon is big enough!

If you're doing big miles, would recommend either one of these on LPG, or a 1.9 or 2.2 diesel version.

If you don't mind 38 mpg motorway and 27 mpg round town, then go for the Aero! Very fast for what it is.

Think if I do go for one I would take a 1.9 diesel.

Still plenty quick enough, 150 bhp as standard, 180ish with a remap.
