Well I'm new to pistonheads so thought I'd chuck up some pics of my past cars. I moved to New Zealand in May but I aim to carry on my progression in the car world when I return. The next thing I want is a decent spec caterham and then my 'realistic' dream car is a Noble M12 which I hope to own by the time I'm 25 (currently 22)

Right so I started out with this which I bought standard and then the modding bug bit!

When I turned 18 I moved onto an 8v Ibiza GTi which I thought was rapid back then!

After 6 months of ownership I swapped it for a MK2 golf 1.8 driver

Sold that and bought a MK4 golf 1.8t GTi (which I also thought was quick!)

At this point my dad had owned a couple of T4's and I fancied one so I bought an old 1993 2.0 petrol as that was all I could afford. Ended up looking like this:

Got bored of going slow so I bought a Stage 1 Ibiza Cupra, running around 195bhp. I stripped it out and had a lot of fun embarrassing people in porsche boxsters!

By now I could afford a slightly better T4 so I went out and bought a fairly rusty 2.5TDi in white. After a lot of work it ended up like below. Insulated and carped lined with a bench seat in the back and captains seats up front. Lowered around 120mm on Genuine ATS mercedes splits. Resprayed in a one off colour with a rear spoiler added and the rear wiper holes smoothed. I really wish I didn't sell it as I spent so much time and money on it and it was really personal to me!

Again I got bored of going slow and it was spring so I went on the hunt for something fun to drive. I was set on a 350z but I then noticed how pretty S2000's are and ended up buying one! Now that I've driven both cars I'm really glad I went for the Honda! This had a stainless manifold running through to a single exit stainless exhaust with 1 tiny silencer. K&N induction and an Apexi VAFC II Vtec controller. The sound it made at 9000rpm was spine tingling! I regret selling the car but more so I regret selling the wheels as they were beautiful and pretty rare Panasport G7 C5C2 3 piece split rims. The best part of owning this was turning up at college in it and seeing everyones reactions (at the time I was an apprentice Boat Builder)

After summer was over I decided the S2K was too slow. I sold it and bought a MK3 golf estate for £400 so that I could save a bit more and get myself an E46 M3. This didn't go to plan as a mere 10 days after buying the golf, what was to be my next purchase came up for sale. I fell in love straight away so we drove 400 miles in my mates Leon Cupra R to go and collect it. Happily upon arrival it was in the perfect condition it was described in and had some decent quality mods on it. The spec was something along the lines of Cusco Coilovers, polybushes, front and rear strut braces, 272 highlift cams, 10.5 hotside turbo with titanium compressor wheel, Kakimoto Stainless exhaust, Custom map with launch control and pops and bangs. Power was around the 390bhp mark so it went pretty well!

I bought some Rota G-forces in 18x9 wrapped in 265/35/18 Toyo R888's. They were a bit of a dodgy colour but with these tyres on this car was pretty much untouchable on the roads, just the right amount of power with a shed load of grip.

I would have loved to have put the Evo away for a few years as it was in real good condition but I had made the decision to do a ski season in New Zealand before I get too old so unfortunately I had to let it go to free up some funds. Once I got out here I bought myself a ratty old Subaru legacy Turbo. I then saw how much offroading is available over here so I bought myself a truck:

The truck was an awesome bit of kit, would go pretty much anywhere and even through rivers with no snorkel. As you can see in one of the photos it had to save my mates hilux after it drowned! Anyway that went and I bought myself a Subary Legacy RS twin turbo. Its a fun car to drive, 276bhp, 4wd and bilstein suspension as standard.

Well that about sums up my car history, I look forward to contributing to PH in the future!

Looks like a V to me. I've fancied one in yellow for ages.

Yeah it was a 5 and the colour is called dandelion yellow. I was on the verge of buying a silver 6 (actually won the auction on ebay but I was already on my way to pick up the yellow one) but I'm glad I went for the 5, I actually prefer the front bumper on the 5.
If I ever get another Evo it will be another 5 but this time in red and RS spec rather than GSR.

Impressive list of cars, like the eclectic mix yet all look good in their own right.
