Picked up this on Thursday, a TVR Tuscan Red Rose.
I finally found myself in a position to buy my dream car after lusting after one since their launch. The owner of this car sent me a pm after reading one of my threads on Tuscans when I was reading up on the cars.
The car was only 20 minutes up the road from me so I went to have a look last Sunday. I tried not to let my heart rule my head so I got an inspection from Rob Ingleby.
Everything checked out so I bit the bullet and negotiated a decent price with the owner.
I had a couple of TVR moments on the first night. First, the drivers window didn't wind down when I tried to open the door. This was fixed by locking and unlocking the car. The second came when the gear stick came off. I got it back on now but that was pretty scary!
I have been driving with the roof off this weekend and I'm smitten! The engine note goes from gruff to a full on howl around 4-5 thousand revs. Fabulous.
I am taking it very easy indeed until I am more used to the car. Their reputation precedes them.
As first rear wheen drive cars go, I think this is a good one!

Lovely clap

Where are the pictures taken? Looks local but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Captain Slow, they were taken by the church in Old Warden in Beds.
Thanks for the nice comments! I want to go for a night time roof off drive but I have other things to do!

Just up the road from me (Shefford), I'll keep an eye out for you as I travel through to Potton quite a bit.

They are great cars, I had mine for 3 years and love it.

No major problems with mine, treat it like you would any low volume produced car and you will be fine.

Enjoy

Hello, bob, thank you so much for your mail, love your Tuscan it looks amazing, but sadly or not whichever way you look at it,but I already got a cerbera in exactly same colour and wheels combination, the two cars could be twins,if they weren't differant models,,thank you for getting in touch and I hope you find the right vehicle for you,I want a differant colour and yellow really appeals, good luck with everything, sorry replyed on your link, but having trouble with technology ,best wishes.
