Hopefully tomorrow brokering a deal between my mate and my Mum's Husband who currently owns this.. I am lucky in that my mate gets me insured on his cars and lets me use them when I wish! I think it is a DS20, 1972. And its LUSH! Cannot wait to drive it.

Why would you encourage your stepdad to sell this ???

Cracking car that you should try and keep in the family.

Lucky sod. I was looking at them lastnight, I have a hankering for a decent car again, something a bit different. It has come down to a DS, a Traction or a circa 1930's C4.

You must let us know what they're like to live with if the deal goes through.

Well, he currently has 65 cars.......... His business is cars for TV and movies, he has lots of interesting stuff including this:

It is the ACTUAL stunt car from The Sweeney, the one used in all the car chase clips. This is my same mate dicking around in it at a Brands Hatch Autotest, he let us borrow it and we gave it a "proper" Sweeney style seeing too!!! Handled like st, hats off to the original stunt drivers as it is very tricky to control when it lets go.

I have never driven the DS, but yes I will post up some first ever driving impressions when I get my first go for you :-)

Had a DS and a CX back in the 90s. Wish I had never sold it. Be worth a fortune now.
