Would some of that come off when you set the left rear to the same height as the others?

If it was that simple wink That's spring platform height not ride height, dropping that to the same as the others would result in one front corner going lighter and the other rear corner becoming heavier with the ride heights changing across the car as a result. It's that additional spring preload which is compensating for the difference in weight in the car (i.e. it's not a perfect balance to start with as chain drive, diff etc. is off set from the cars centreline).

Massive thread bump inspired by reading lap records at Cadwell.

What happened with the Jedi in the end?

Finished it and shook it down but then the regs changed for the series I was going to race it in to outlaw heavily modified Jedis so I sold it to a great pair of guys who took it hill climbing. It's not got a GSXR engine in it I believe and is doing rather well biggrin

Just read through this from start to finish. Must be great fun to drive one of these properly. I have driven one briefly on a track day experience, very short and tight track so never got beyond 3rd gear unfortunately.

Would really love to spend some proper time with one.
