Running costs are surprisingly low.
My insurance is under £300 (might even be about £250ish) and that is for 3k miles/year and agreed value.

Not really sure what the mpg is. When I bought it I drove it about 400 miles home, mostly up the motorway, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was but back onto A and B roads at home it has taken a bit of a tumble to low/mid teens I think.

I am the least mechanically minded person in the world but they are apparently easy to self service and to tinker with. I had mine serviced by the Ultima factory in the summer and it was in the region of £350/400 all in.

Can't help with the trailer dimensions unfortunately since that was the Ultima factory's trailer returning the car to me.
Thanks for taking the time to respond, I'm going to book in a visit to the factory soon (they are only down the road from me) so I'll ask them when I visit!

Yeah, that car looks awesome if a bit scary, I 100% want a ride in it!

How do you find the gold heat reflective foil? I have to apply to my car but it's still rolled up in the garage!

Must confess that I was motivated by the bling-factor more than anything else. whistle
It certainly is easy to cut and fit, and it shows no sign of coming off.

On the Ultima forum you do hear of folk having issues with heat build-up and cooling but it isn't anything I have experienced in this car. I fitted the side-scoops fairly early on in my ownership which must do something to help but so far.... so good smile

No real update here. Apologies. It just occurred to me that having a few pics in a single thread might be handy to direct folk to when it comes to selling time getmecoat

Don't often comment on readers rides threads (I normally just sit back and admire) but that is something else, absolutely stunning.

I remember attending the Ultimate factory many years ago with the VX220.org club. That day did not end too well.
The cars there were amazing though. Love what you have done.

Do you have any videos of the sound on a cold start up or when it is nice and warm?

Thanks for all the positive comments.

As for sound.... Nope frown

I will make an effort to get some video and sound clips tho since I have only ever heard it from the inside. I'm not sure that it is a particularly nice noise in the way that an Aston burbles or a Ferrari screams. It is just a fairly loud, gruff V8 growl. But it certainly is loud biggrin

Outstanding!

Wish I made it out to the GT Scotland breakfast now. Would love a gander round this. Will you be going to any other meets this year?

So many good intentions to go to more of these meets but sometimes so many other things to do or places to be. But yes, that is the plan smile

There are actually a few Ultima owners up here. A couple of mates have the open top Can-Am cars and I know of at least another 2 GTRs so they are almost common wink

Looks incredible. Always thought I'd like an Ultima one day, but at 6'5 this picture worries me!

Equally as ridiculous looking parked next to a small Toyota Rav4 biggrin
But, there is more room than you think if you get the lowered floor.
