A lots been going on in the past weeks, some upgrades and also some breakages

This was the begging of my Vanos repair and overhaul, read here if your interested: http://totalmcars.com/thread/6765/vanos-faiure-fix...

Had my steering wheel retrimmed by Royal steering wheels, went for black alcantara with white stitching (Senna style)

Wrapped the whole airbox in gold

Made a air dam and yellow tinted headlights

Down to the really nice stuff, KW v3 with Turner adjust front mounts and rouge rear, fitted with Ring dry settings, still need to fiddle the right height and play with spacer then will get geo and some decent pictures. Looking forward to testing these around Sliverstone GP in a few weeks

Just fitting KW V3's to my E30 M3. Any issues with the rear springs touching on the turret? Gold looks great on the airbox. Is it the stuff made by ATL?

No we have a few sessions at trax on the 19th (I know it's trax, but was cheap for the GP circuit)

No problem for me. E46 run separate shock and spring on the rear. Gold heat tape came from Mishimoto.

Ah that's a shame, I've been looking into an E46 as a track car for next year, would've loved have nabbed a few passenger laps in it. Could've swapped you for some passenger laps in my GTR.

Sorry, I see that now. Final pic didn't load for me earlier. Am surprised they didn't offer true coilover though. Will check out the heat tape and see if it's more affordable that ATL?

What's the info on track day on the 3rd ? If I really enjoy the track may book on.

Yeah idealy I'd want a true rear coilover but would have to go for something like Nitron or Intrax to get that. Not seen the ALT stuff. The mishi is £30 for 15' x 2" or £58 for 35' x 2" I know because I've brought both.

Open pit lane, 102db drive by, GP circuit. There's a good few GTRs going so should be an interestImg day. Not been to Silverstone before myself. You can book it through the Silverstone site.

Just beautiful mate. Those yellow headlights with the blue paint is an absolute winner move.

Would have loved to have joined but that's a expensive day! And I've just had a expensive month. Trying a new lap timer on my phone though so can see how we compare.

Went same way on my old E21.

Mishimoto heat shield is way cheaper than ATL. Thanks for heads up.

ETA - those front tyres are NOT staying! smile

Nice E21! That a m50 or 52? Bigger manifold which ever way.

My friends got a e21 and looking to buy a m50 non vanos for it. It's on air ride though so it doesn't count.

M52/2.8 with Cat cams, 6 branch, alloy flywheel, Jenvey ITB kit & DTA Pro ecu. I was tempted to simply go with an S50 or S54 but M52 are so cheap I figured I would just see what I could get using 'off the shelf' upgrades.

Wow not seen those intakes before! You looking to wrap them in the gold?
