No I flipped when when swapped to the apex. Want to take a little camber out the rear but fronts will stay the same.

Love it. One of the nicest cars ive seen.

Id question those brake ducts tho. The veins in the discs are design to throw air out the edges. this seems to contracdict that? Would it be better to put the feed to the center of the disk to increase flow through the disc as designed and hence make it cooler?

Yeah I'm under that same impression. But going to give these a go on track and if they prove to be no good I'll ducted from the centre of the disc.

Few small updates

As I needed a taller seat for the harness slots to be my shoulder height. Good friend lent me his recaro pro racer seat. Love it!

Found a good place to tie the dog to. Although did come back to him with the lead under the bumper and him stuck.

Finally redone my sun strip with no creases or bubbles. I royally messed up the last one so was happy with this

Then I used the left over carbon from my stereo blank to add a little more air intake as I've robbed the engine of the lower feed that is now only a brake duct.

Awesome car, awesome photos, really like this dude. How do you find the Nankangs? I have them on my Clio 200. They're aren't bad for the money but I don't find them as grippy as the Yoko AD08R's I had on my Civic Type R previously.

Once you've got some heat on them they seam pretty good. Only problem I found is they go off a little quick.

Now running a Eventuri intake which added a nice proven 10.6 bhp just from a air filter. Will be doing a full write up soon.

Also installed a oil catch can and gold intake tape, have since wraped the maf housing too.

Someone took a nice pre track photo from the back of the pits area

Great build! Very interested to hear your opinion of the Eventuri intake, I'm tempted to try one on my Z4M.

Few pictures from the Total M cars 2nd anni at Evolve Eventuri HQ

More of the Eventuri intake as its just a work of art.

Also had to make a custom feed as my brake ducks got rid of the stock oem lower feed

Yesterday I finally swapped over my Vibra Technis prototype trans mount for their in production item

At the same time fitted my UUC DDSR

The new mount has made the world of differance, my exhaust was every so slightly rubbing on the old item so is lot quieter now smile

Have some pictures from the PHSS round Sliverstone too.

Other than it looking the mutt's nuts, is there a reason to have an intake out of carbon fibre, rather than plastic? Wouldn't plastic be lighter?

AFAIK carbon fibre offers better thermal insulation than plastic. Could well be wrong though.
And it looks cooler too!
