Did the centre that fitted your exhaust also do the bumper cutting? I've had a look at a few and I'd definitely get the pre-facelist S63 oval tips but I don't know if it would look right with the standard bumper, even with the cutting done. I'd love to see how yours looks!
Hi, yes they did. Will try and get some pictures up for you as soon as i get some time. On another note, mine has started to make a funny noise on cold start up, it sounds more or less like a chirping bird in the bonnet chirping away. It only happens on cold start up and lasts only around 30 seconds until the car warms up. I had the Auxillary Belt changed which didn't make much of a difference, but now the noise is begining to get louder. Anybody had such issues or know what it could be?
Hope it doesn't get too expensive, just received a tax reminder for it this morning...£485 for the year

Could be possible, seems to me like it might be more like problems with the belt/pulley/tensioner system.
Anybody know where the auxillary battery is located on these?
There's 1 main and 2 aux batteries in a W221 http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w221-s-class/16580...Anybody know where the auxillary battery is located on these?
Not much of an update as work/family/life in general is dominating my time and finances at the moment. I managed to source a really high quality bonnet star on line for a fraction of the cost MB wanted for one. I went with the blue "Mercedes Benz" detail on the base too which the original one did not have. The rest of the car is disgusting at the moment as I have been working out of it pretty much every day for the past month. I'm going to treat it to a proper wash this coming weekend, inside and out!
With work taking me all over the country at the moment, i've not had much inspiration to keep the car clean, but after the sun came out the other day, I thought it would be rude not to treat her to a quick buffing...
I have my first free weekend in what feels like forever coming up, so it's time to tackle 3000 miles of commuting inside!

12000 miles down in 7 months, at an average of 24mpg... I may be looking for a change of scenery soon! I've also got a slow puncture and no time to sort it out but all in all, it's been a wafty comfy dream to drive since day one.
Here's a couple of nice pics from the SS at the weekend;
(Big thanks to my mate for opening the door and then not closing it when i asked him too...)

Blimey it's been a while since I was last on this forum - work life and no updates for the S class have meant a complete forum blackout for me. But anyway, I have been looking for spots near me for a friend to come and shoot a very special car of ours and whilst searching I thought I would take a couple of pics of the old girl...
and a little tease of the special car in question (although not a Mercedes)
