Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely car. Really like these. Maybe it's the boy racer in me, but i'd love to see a set of LMs or grids on it tho.

Another small update as some more parts arrived .

Earthing kit to add to the smaller kit that is installed .

Then wrapping the induction pipe in DEI heat tape ( did this on my old Mr2 Turbo and inlet temps came down )

And to finish off a wax with the G3

Get rid of the ropey OEM stereo ! best thing I ever did, I tried the tape thing and frankly, it was crap, got a £99 Pioneer double din from Halfords and a fitting kit off Ebay for £70 and took half a day or so and was all done, Bluetooth audio and calls, USB/Ipod, a CD that doesnt skip etc etc.

Just changed the blowing Y pip on mine for a Japspeed cheapy off Ebay to replace the leaking oem one and it is so much better now.

I will have a look at this at some point but it is down the list .

Did the Y pipe have flex or is it a solid unit ?

It has a flex in it, this is the one,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110814072134?_trksid=p20...

Cant believe how much better the car feels, really relishing it at the moment, I think the difference is knackered OEM vs New rather than OEM vs Aftermarket, cant imagine it makes much difference standard vs standard.

Aftermarket Y pipe will not add too much .

HFC is where the best gains can be made .

And then, dont you need the Uprev remap to make any noticeable difference, i.e. to take account of it ?

I've been thinking of ditching the skippy CD Bose in mine.
Were you able to retain the steering wheel stereo controls with this set up?

Yes you will not gain anything without an Uprev remap as the ecu will dial out any gains after 50 od miles .

Yeah, it works very well, I ordered this,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-2006-BOSE-Ca...

Its a fair old job, allow half a day to a day, I had to do the "Buster Mod" (basically attaching the amplified speaker wires from the Head Unit to the Bose amplified inputs) as it wasn't loud enough, not hard but you need to do some soldering and shrink wrapping to do it properly.
