Mercedes CLS320 (C)W219
Discussion
Hi all,
After months of looking for the right car with the correct spec and history, I eventually stumbled upon the ideal CLS. Negotiation and a visit to see the car and it's all mine! Great Spec including xenon's, heated seats, AMG factory fitted kit & 19" AMG Alloys.
Drives excellent and a lovely vehicle to sit inside, cabin is superb and the quality is well.. Quality. The CLS has always been a head turner for me and I knew one day I would like to own this car. I have already put 1000 miles on the clock on a roundtrip to Devon (42.6 MPG); it's really at home on the motorway but provides great stability and feel on the B-Roads. Plenty of power under the bonnet and goes well for such big car.
I managed to get out for a few pictures today as the winter weather hasn't been too kind over New Year. The car gets a lot of looks and attention which is nice and even taking pictures today I had a XJR owner who walked over, chatted away and had poke around the car while he left his missus in the Jag! Excellent.

Thanks, the CLS really is a car that divides opinion on looks; I'm not keen on the standard 'round' bumpers of the early versions, however as mentioned above, the AMG kit really sets the car off.
I was lucky to come across this car but months of searching proved good. I see it holding its value pretty well as the xenons, sat nav and AMG kitted cars still command a premium in the classifieds.

What was the "correct spec" you were looking for OP? The bits you listed or more than that?
I was looking for: Black Leather interior, Full leather sports steering wheel with controls, Airmatic, Parking Sensors, Sat-Nav, Dark matte wood and Non cup holder centre console, as well as the additions mentioned previously.I was lucky to come across this car but months of searching proved good.
