UKDM, JDM, USDM, EUDM

They're all commonly used acronyms to designate where that particular model variant was originally sold.
Lots of terms are commonly used wrongly.

The JDM integra TypeR has a different specification to the UKDM version. Visually it looks different too.
ITYM that the JDM version is different to the UK export version.
It's far too late to start disputing the naming we have for the DC2s. Bore off.

Lovely looking motor anyway OP. I had a 120k standard car for a brief period for a few weeks ago. They are fantastic in standard form!

Congratulations! They're great cars. I've had mine for 5 years this year and love it. Have the rusty rear arches too, so getting that attended to this year. Enjoy!
I do miss the mental drive of mine.

sadly I couldn't stomach the practically 'consumable' rear arches. TGM advised me that every 2 years or so the rust will start to come back and a proper job would cost £2000 frown

Hows your E55 cat?
I'm now thinking of selling the dc2, bought a r129 last week.

Still loving the E55, yet to see another on the road since I bought mine last August. How's the M3?

Lovely car. Proper drivers car and a proper type R with hydraulic steering, LSD and cable operated throttle.

I have one of these machines, great cars.

I've uprated the suspension lsd and bushing's along with some tweaks to engine whilst stripping the car and its certainly a little rocket on track.

look forward to the updates, cars like this will be hard to come by in the coming years.

Time for a little update!

Life with the Teg is still going strong, even if the bank balance has taken a bit of a pounding!

I'm off to the nurburgring later this month and wanted the car to be 100%.

First of all in has gone a genuine honda clutch, considering it wasn't slipping it just felt a little 'tired' I'm pretty impressed with a stock 152,000 mile clutch!

Next up was a new rad, again the old standard one was working fine, but it genuinely had more holes than fins! I fitted an aftermarket Tegiwa rad, which seems to be working perfectly although I've had to buy aftermarket fans and rad stays for it to fit properly.

Next step is some coilovers and a re bush - she handles suprinsingly well now with knackered parts so can't wait to feel the difference!

Quick pick next to the other love of my life.. Happy days!
