Modern Mk1 Escort

I'm new on here so bear with me, I've been busy over the last 3 years creating this, I started out to make a classic car a reasonable modern car with a little bit difference, the original condition of the Escort was well gone so I decided to graft on a floor pan from a Sierra, the power plant had to be powerful however power doesn't come cheap unless it's a V6 Duratec from a Mondeo so that's what happened, mated to a MT75 gearbox, I ran the car for a year to shows and stuff, goes very well, however the gearing is very high as is all Sierra Cosworth but a wheel and tyre size up so it has a theoretical top speed of 167mph, however I like the way the car just cruises along at 70mph effortlessly on motorways on little fuel, but the price to pay for that is the lack of acieration, now the easy option would be to drop the gearing a size or two, but I don't do easy so decided over the winter months to Supercharge the V6, now I have the best of both worlds, this is a really comfy fun car to drive as I fitted the leather interior from the Mondeo and it sounds the nuts

The car has a wheel track of 6ft & a wheel base of 8ft which keeps it very stable, also with the Sierra Cosworth rear drive and axle set up all helps, the arches are all steel hand made (took me flipin ages to make and get right)this is truly a dream to drive you just can't stop driving it, there is no other like it as a road car.
This is not a Cosworth engine, It's a 2.5 V6 from a Mondeo and they are a very misunderstood in the petrol head world hence there is almost nothing available other some add on induction kits available, it's also what makes this power plant undesirable and cheap as chips, that was the single reason I went for this engine, I knew I could make it fly for next to nothing.

That was the plan, but it was more luck than anything for balance as there was only one position where the engine could go, it ended up a bit further forward than I hoped, it was a gamble but worked out really well in the endYou seem to be a very talented man, well done.
It is a M45 from a Merc SLK230 and I also thought it might be on the small side, however that said once you do the calculations it works out just fine, there are other parameters as well e.g. the charger is geared 2.3:1 that means for every revolution the charger develops around 1400cc of air, then there is the very short feed pipe to the plenum chamber, no intercooler, instead I have water/methanol rigged up to keep the charge temp down, also what I think makes this work is this engine type is renowned for being lazy in the lower rpm the reason for this I think is low air flow below 3500rpm so the engine is crying out for some sort of forced induction help below this rpm, by using a by-pass valve set up from a Mini by just flipping the throttle it closes the valve and glides into boost which makes it very drivable.
