Hello. Ive been a member on here for a while now, and I though maybe id share my little fiesta just in case anyone else out there has some time to kill.
this is my MK6.5 ST 150, its around the 45000 mark and ive owned it since my last car - a fiesta zetec s met its end with a sign post. Its pretty much stock at the moment but i have some plans for it once ive moved house as im due to become homeless shortly.

but here are a few photos of the car as it stands, ive done a few bits and bobs to it but nothing major.

thanks for having a look.

I had a love hate relationship with mine, but the best thing I did was to paint all the fading dull gray plastic panther black, did it with no previous experience in my shed over a week. Made a huge improvement on its looks.

I think I must be the only person that thinks the painted plastics look st.

I kept my plastics standard, just used trim cleaner on them and they looked good.

Nice car OP, looks very well cared for. Loved mine!

Looks good mate, but I don't think I'd bother painting the plastics, just keep them nice and clean. I've had mine just over a year and am loving it still. Keeping mine completely standard, and trying to get it back to looking as if it came out of the factory yesterday! It is in really good condition, but there's a couple of niggles on it for me.

right i know that its been a while since i last posted on here, not a huge amount has changed on the car as shortly after getting it me and some mates bought this to go round Europe in.

its a 2003 audi a6 avant, 2.5 diesel. had 115000 on the clock and needed a bit of tlc, this drained money and time away from the little fiesta but as proof that the audi made it.

with only one slight overheat (a result of a high altitude traffic jam).

and with that out of the way i could turn my attention back to my mighty fiesta. first i decided to paint the plastics

With regards to the gearbox... Erm, not yet. But I am trying to source a replacement as the diff clicks under acceleration and deceleration.

To be honest black wasn't my first choice but it does come up clean and I can't help but love a black car when clean.

Oh and don't worry as soon as I sort the gearbox I'm going to move to the suspension and love wet it a bit. Give it the ride height it should have had from the start.

So, over a year later i still have the car. its been a dream to own and im still enjoying it very much.

since my last post ive done some work to it

first up was to lower it a bit and improve its handling. this was achieved through the eibach pro kit an some brand new shocks.

i made rather short work of it as the car has almost no rust so nothing was seized.

now i know that they are never going to be as good a coilovers but its what i can afford and for my 300+ miles a week its what im happy with. it has improved the cornering body roll and much less nose diving under braking. feels much better for it and... looks so much better in my opinion.

the next thing i did was buy myself a much needed new k&n as the old one was beyond help

it also got treated to a set of team heko wind deflectors. probably not to everones taste but i kind of like them smile

more recently i had the car apart to fit a new PAS cooler as im getting bored of roasting the fluid.

easy fit smile

while i had the bumper off i also fitted a front splitter from triple r composites. makes the front end look amazing in my opinion

time for new front brakes. the old ones were shot, they were run out and it was time for them to go. the new ones come from mtecbrakes and they seem pretty good. a good upgrade over the standard bits.

while i had it in the garage i gave the paintwork a bit of correction and the car a bit of a detail in prep for goodwood hot hatch breakfast club

it came up so good i went for a drive so i could try and capture some more senic photos

and finally one picture from yesterday at goodwood

now that brings it up to date. i hope you all like my little fiesta.

I love it, but I am very bias as I owned a blue one for four years. It was an absolute hoot to drive, and is the closest thing I have driven to what can be described as a little terrier.

I put on a muffler for noise and it was unsurprisingly effective; the standard exhaust is reasonably good kit already so if you wanted to be a little more racecar it can be done without costing the earth.

I had quite a bad camber-wear issue with mine in the rear, I suppose partly as a result of the trailing arm setup but I was told a camber kit would have rectified it. I never bothered, but have you noticed anything on yours? My car was brand new when I owned it so it was not accident-related.

What was the score with the diff? I've not read the full thread, but I assume someone has abused it pulling out of junctions and exiting roundabouts?
