Cleaned the old girl up today. Now has first MOT in 2 years and is in the finest fettle since I bought it.

Thought I'd share!

Since storage it's had a new timing belt and water pump, seats recoloured, new mats and rear muffler bypass fitted. It's a 1991 S4 5.0L..!

The Nurburgring sticker was earned when my dad and I took this car a few years ago, I inherited this car long before I thought I would, so the sticker is staying!

Without doubt my favourite Porsche and quite possibly the only Porsche I'd like to own.

A beautiful car. The 928 is my favourite Porsche too - and the only one I would like to own.

Beautiful. Lovely colours and it looks fantastically fresh.

What happened to the wing?

Hi Sam, Mark here. Long time no see. I've sent you a PM, hopefully you'll get it ok.

I hope I'm reading into the above all wrong. Anyway, like I say you should have a pm there.

Bye for now.

Car looks great OP - love the colour combo, really suits it. Started a thread on mine a few weeks back...

My seats are bit tired so would be interested to know what you did to yours?

Bit of a classic 928 "they all do that sir" problem is that people shut the boot with the wing. So mine started to rattle as I drove along, the previous owner had attempted a fix but it didn't last. Took it off and actually prefer the shape without it!

Looks good to me! I had the seats refurbished by Furniture Clinic, which is a very cost effective alternative to releathering it. A few weeks ago mine looked far worse than yours!

Very nice it's been years since I've seen one being used regularly.

It's been a running joke that since we bought the car we haven't actually seen another whilst we have been out in it!
