Cheers, I do prefer the look to the newer models, seem to be getting even bigger and bigger now.

Road to Bala is a great road when the weather is good, was lots of fog when I went in June so didn't get to enjoy it much, will give me an excuse to have another trip over there smile

For the spares wheels you got on ebay, where they specially for the mini or did you search for a size and checked the offset what correct?

Occasionally i check ebay and nothing seems to come up apart from standard wheels that are too expensive or brand new sets which I cannot afford.

Was just looking for these Team Dynamic wheels and won them in an auction, they were from a Mini race car I believe so were the correct offset, cant find the offset on them tho.

They weren't in perfect condition because of that but look a lot better now they've been sprayed and tidied up.

Had the exhaust looked at last week, was a small hole where the Backbox meets the mid pipe so garage welded that up, exhaust is alot quiter now!

Went for a drive to test the exhaust sound -

Today decided to change the wheels back to the JCW ones for winter as the Team Dynamics need a couple new tyres fitting anyway, then went for a drive to get some shots in the Autumn colours smile

It's amazing how much more modern it looks than my #05, mainly because of the wheels I think. Nice smile

Do you treat the exterior plastics with anything? Looks like mine used to! Autoglym was the culprit I think, now using Meguiars which is better but not great.

Try Gtechniq on the plastics.

Don't think I've ever treated the plastics since I brought it, might give the Gtechniq a go tho, thanks Podie for the suggestion smile

Went to North Wales last week and had a great time on some awesome roads and they were mostly empty compared to going in summer driving

Some pics, started to Snow while on the Evo Triangle, love this pic smile

Llanberis Pass -

A5, Lake Ogwen -

Hoping to tidy the car up a bit, started by ordering some new JCW Badges for the Grille and the Tailgate as there looking a bit tatty, hopefully get them fitted next week.

It's great stuff. Tiny bottle, but it lasts well.

Can recommend their wheel sealant stuff too.

It's a real case of you get what you pay for.

Won some new wheels on Ebay, won some Mini JCW R112's in Gloss Black, went to pick them up today and fitted one to see how they look on the car -

Quiet pleased with how they look on, gonna use these instead of the TD Pro Race, gotta get a couple new tyres for them so will have to wait till the end of the month for that, thinking of getting either some Hankook V12 Evo 2's or Avon ZZ5's as have heard they perform well on Minis and are quiet reasonably priced.

Fitted the new rear badge I got, looks better than the tatty one that was there, car does need a good wash smile

Lovely car, I used to have a Cooper in BRG, those were the days! i'm not a fan of the new wheels, they look like they should be on an R56, the old wheels looked nicer, it's your car however! smile

Am keeping the silver R109 wheels that are currently on the car but they need a refurb really as have lacquer peel and lots of marks on them, gonna cost a bit to get them done as there 2pc split rims, new wheels are in a lot better condition, would of preferred them in silver but they dont come up for sale that often other than people trying to sell them for £800 - £900 on ebay!!

Gonna sell the Team Dynamic Pro Race wheels as dont need 3 lots of wheels smile
