While I love this build and the knowledge and effort that's gone into it, I'm rather stunned to learn that you can buy front and rear subframes of an E9x M3 for less than a grand, and bolt them to an unsuspecting 1series shell! The coilovers add a lot to that but the end result looks an absolute bargain.
