Hi guys,
I'm looking at a new car and want something that's fun, fast and can be used everyday. I'm looking to tune it up over the years and modify it (tastefully).
I'm currently stuck between two main cars and a more sensible option.
300zx non turbo:
Always wanted a targa car and these seem a great shout. 3.0 V6 rear wheel drive jap rocket, but as a daily I couldn't cope with the maintanence of the twin turbo, but that's fine as maybe in the future could upgrade it to turbo (maybe doubt it though). And I found a manual one. Can only go up in value.
The non turbo is also a 2+2 so has some small back seats for luggage when running back and too.
Downsides are they are bit more to run and insure but I have one lined up cheap in need of a smudge of TLC.
And older it's a 93.
IS300:
2JZ goodness, again not a turbo but very easy bolt on in the future, got four doors and some space, RWD and sequential paddle shift gearbox makes for an easy drive and also fun on country roads with the option of a manual box change in the future not ruled out
I like the is and has a lot of potential, also more reliable but it's a bit more drab than the ZX but could be made into a sweet sleeper.

The third and more sensible option is an Audi Quattro avant. 1.8t Quattro with tonnes of potential to tune up. More sensible size wise but still a quick car with the potential of being a very quick car with cams, ecu, tt turbo and new gaskets. Should push to about 400hp so a little sleeper estate ?

Guys let me know your ideas, got to be a daily that's fun and fast and last a good few years.
Thanks

Some photos of what they might look like and ones I like.
Thanks

Not to piss on your chips, but none of those 3 cars are fast or fun to drive!

Your best bet is to tell us your budget and requirements, and we'll look for alternatives.

^^^what he said. Looking at the cars you've chosen, I'm assuming a budget of around 2-3k. Here's a few I picked from the classifieds.

Turbo, 240bhp as standard with 300bhp easily achievable. Jap, 4 seats and a big (ish) boot. That Audi wouldn't see where this went on a country lane!

Jap, RWD and great in the twisted. 4 seats and 4 doors. Leather and Bose audio. What's not to like?

If you must by an Audi estate, would this not be a better bet?
