I had a 2wd Saph, 4x4 Saph, black 3dr and 4x4 Saph in that order. All the Saph's were Moonstone. 3dr was my favourite car followed by the 2wd Saph. The 2wd Cossies were much nicer to drive than the 4x4's, much preferred the 2wd T5 gearbox. I spent thousands on my Cossies, they can be a money pit if you get the tuning bug and start chasing power figures. After I sold my last Cossie in 2005 I bought a M3 and since then stayed with BMW M power as they were a lot less hassle to own. I would still love another Cossie for shows etc as this time if I bought another it would be fairly standard.

Great looking Cossie you have, look after it and enjoy!
It originally had to be a 4x4 for me but I'm glad now that this one came up when it did, love it and wouldn't change now.
Just need some sun now to get it out and use it
The SVE engineers reckoned the 2wd Sapphire was the nicest to drive

They're not the bargain they were though unless you compare them to other contemporaries

A friend who's very handy with a camera took a few photos a few weeks back. Was a bit of a last minute kind if thing so I didn't get a chance to clean the car beforehand.

Been a couple of weeks since my ownership ended with this one, took a mk1 Focus RS in a part ex deal so it's not all bad news.

Unfortunately running costs became too much for me at the moment with looking to buy a house shortly,a lovely car to own but not really ideal for someone like me who likes to use them as they were intended, something else breaking every weekend gets a bit wearing and the boy just got in contact at the right time to make the deal.

The Focus is around 300bhp so quite a fun toy,it'll never be a Cosworth but it's proved more useable so far so that'll do me for a while.
