Hey all, been reading here for a long time but only just started posting. I'm 25 and I'm a paint sprayer by trade. This is my DC2, has her for just over 3 years and I've spent mega time and money getting it to where it is today. Was pretty much a standard car when I bought it in 2012, after my previous one (a black JDM variant) giving up the ghost after an engine rebuild. I've taken it to the 'ring 3 times, soon to be 4 this August, and I've done Brands Indy twice in it (brands is only 15 minutes away from me!). Looking forward to getting my coilovers on it, and getting some camber sorted and expanding my experience on other circuits around the country. Anyway, here's some photos, hope you all like it smile

Still such a special car, hard to find a good one now simply as they're all so old!

The really good ones go for between 4500 and £6000 now from what I've seen recently. This one was just over 5 grand 3 years ago

The Evo wheels work really well on them too, loads more tyre choices too I imagine.

They're kosei k1, more popularly known as Buddy club p1. Needed some track wheels and funds didn't allow for a set of buddy clubs at the time

Thanks for all the comments!

Current spec is as follows:

Recaro SPG with genuine Takata (might swap out for a brand new Schroth soon though)
OEM style carbon fibre spoiler
k1 wheels wrapped in Yokohama AD08Rs
Yellow stuff pads and MTEC grooved discs all round
JDM ECU
Reconditioned injectors
DC sports 4-1 manifold into 5Zigen Pro Racer cat back
Updated NGK leads
Moroso baffled sump
Mocal Oil cooler with thermostatic sandwich plate
Various bracing
Oil temp and pressure gauges
Custom alloy expansion tank
Custom alloy clutch fluid and power steering fluid resovoirs
Candy red cam cover (was like it when I bought it, still undecided if I like it or not!)
Custom alloy spark plug cover

The car at some point in its life (when it was standard) was a demo car for a company called Spec-R, so the custom tanks are thanks to them!

Things to be fitted:

Meister R zeta R coilovers
Front and rear camber arms

rolleyes Things to buy:

Recaro pole position for passenger side
Dunlop DZ03G all round on a separate set of wheels
ECU and a proper map, undecided on what to go for at the moment
Swirl pot, lines and fittings

Think that's it at the moment! With the other seat changed to a pole position I should have saved around 60 kg from the car in total, which is really quite noticeable! Toying with the idea of a carbon or fibreglass bonnet to get a little weight off over the nose but we'll see

Cheers

Little update, or quite a big one actually! Finally got my coilovers fitted today, went for Meister R ZetaPro R. Highlight of the day was my mate Jesse who was helping me with the job getting his necklace stuck in the park plug cover, had to unbolt it all to free him from his peril!

The car feels amazing on the new suspension and doesn't crash around like it did before, such a transformation! Looking forward to my camber arms actually being delivered so I can get some camber set up!

Cheers everyone

Finally (!!) got my camber arms delivered, so will be getting these fitted the weekend and setting the ride height properly, then going to get the geometry set up at last! driving

They have Hardrace ball joints in them from the factory too, so that's one less thing to worry about!

Got my camber arms fitted to the car today, also set the ride height properly and got the alignment set in Essex at Elite. Went for 2 degrees negative camber on the front, rear already had some so I left that as it was. Very knowledgable chaps down there and they really know what they're doing. Would recommend to anyone in the Kent/East London

Just a small update, got a few more parts for the teg. Managed to get hold of a Mine's ECU, it alters the AFRs to suit my mods and gives me more power through the mid range and at the top end, really is a great unit. It also moves the rev limiter up to 9200 rpm, which is great fun! Also bought a set of Dunlop DZ03G for the 'ring next month.

Also treated myself to a new steering wheel, did this in my last Teg and it really gave the interior a nice feel. Opted for a 330mm suede Sparco wheel. Looking forward to getting it fitted when the boss arrives in the post!

Always prefered this to the EP3 civic for some reason ( although never owned either so can't say why exactly)

Is that the before alignment sheet? Rear is all over the place.

That's the after, the rear wasn't touched as they didn't want to get involved with rusty toe adjusters, will get that sorted when I get some new toe arms, also the rear camber is virtually where I want it besides the nearside which could do with a bit more in reality
