Unrestored original standard examples are extremely rare wink
I just had a little look at auction prices; I see what you mean.
There is a white restored one for sale in the back of one of my classic mags this month for 105,000yikes Euros

I bet! There's no ECU as such, is there? Power delivery even at the lowest state of tune must be fairly brutal!

What level of tune is yours, Dazza?
It's a K Jetronic injection system, used by a lot of manufacturers in the 80's

Mines the totally standard 160bhp

Probably around the right price area that, unrestored 5 Turbos are rare as they rust easily & most were used and abused back in the 80's

Do these have the gear stick coming out of the dash as the cooking 5s did ?
Only very early 5s had that, with a similar linkage to 4s, round the side of the engine, to the box right at the very front. Age notwithstanding, that might not apply to this one...

Made the number plates myself as wasn't happy with some plates I got from the number plate centre in Birmingam

Stripped them down & re-used the raised lettering & mounted them onto plastic plates instead of the metal backing plates they came on...........took me a few attempts too perfect, but well worth the money & effort involved

That is a beauty smile

I was at BCA Brighouse in 1986 or 87 when these cars used to come through 6 or 7 at a time, one after the other. All new/del mileage cars direct from Renault.

They would make £8000 on the hammer.

I don't remember seeing a brown one though.
