Made the number plates myself as wasn't happy with some plates I got from the number plate centre in BirmingamCan I ask where you got the number plates...or are they original?
Stripped them down & re-used the raised lettering & mounted them onto plastic plates instead of the metal backing plates they came on...........took me a few attempts too perfect, but well worth the money & effort involved

I was at BCA Brighouse in 1986 or 87 when these cars used to come through 6 or 7 at a time, one after the other. All new/del mileage cars direct from Renault.
They would make £8000 on the hammer.
I don't remember seeing a brown one though.
