Wow, these look so much better now than they did to me when they were new. Brown really suits it. Love them!

Amazing!
That is without doubt the best colour on the R5T2...your car looks superb and great to see one in such original condition! Thanks for sharing...you must be chuffed

They are quite a car...I've had mine since January and still can't quite believe how much it makes me giggle and grin like a teenager. The pops, bangs, whooshes and turbo spooling are just utterly addictive. And once it gets going, it's a quick old car

Mine's quite a way from original condition after a life on the European tarmac rally circuit...but recently fully rebuilt by John Price

Hope to see it at a few events

Cheers for the comments guys, good to see there's still a lot of people who like these old 5's!

Couple of more recent pictures after some more layers of protection smile

Few of the interior, the rear speakers have gone now as they were not fitted as standard- even still has the factory plastic over the rear engine covers, never seen another 5 Turbo still with them as they were usually removed by the supplying French dealer

Was amazingly lucky too find this car, only with help from 2 UK owners / experts that I was able to track the previous owner down & get in contact

Took months of negotiations & viewings to finally secure the sale

I can't put into words how much I love this car! It's one of the nicest cars I've ever seen. Enjoy it, and then sell it to me once you're done ;-)

I used to work for Reynard Racing Cars back in the mid 90s and one of the fabricators who used to work there, a guy call Dylan, had an ex john price rally car as his road car, it was finished in Black with Gotti wheels, He worked for John Price before he came to us. I think he sold the car to a lad who worked there also, pretty sure his name was Tom, The last time I saw it was in a workshop near Brackley, Northants, needing a bit of work, I cant remember the reg number but I am wondering if this is the same car.

Hi
Interesting...not my car though. Mine has been in Germany since it was built in '84.

The registration number was HCJ 280X looks like John Price ran it at race retro last year. Glad its still around although its red and white now. It looked kind of menacing in black.
I remember having a spin round the block in it one lunchtime, awesome car I had a 2.4 Manta coupe at the time. Happy days.
