Thought I would share a few piccies of my M5 following a 2 day detailing session!

It has only covered 48k Miles so I have the full BMW Mondial warranty that I am hoping to make use of next week as the common problem of bootlid electrical gremlins & battery warnings has raised its head.

I bought it in March and intend adding a custom exhaust once the warranty issues have been resolved by BMW. Coming from a C63 estate the V10 is a bit too quiet for my liking biggrin

The paintwork was finished off with a Gtechniq treatment and the finish is stunning with barely a blemish or slight scratch in sight, not bad for an 8 year old car!

Very nice and shiny. Lovely sounding cars. Does the touring have the same front seats as the saloon which give you a squeeze when you put it in M-mode?

Beautiful car.

Ripe for some increased induction noise and free flow silencers.

Thanks guys, yes it does have the active seats. It's amazing how quickly I've got used to the seats & HUD which I already miss when driving other cars! I thought the seats would be just a gimmick but they really do work well.

Always loved this view of these!

Really interested to hear how the performance and delivery differs from the c63?

Masterpiece of engineering. I am certain despite dividing opinion this car will always be remembered for its defining character that V10 engine.

I wish BMW had continued to produce and develop the engine, with all the latest developments in shifting technology etc they would have been onto something spectacular.

Best of luck smile

I kept my V10 exhaust looking factory standard and had the 2 inner rear boxes cut open and the pipes inside wrapped. Boxes welded back up. Looks standard and sounds great. A guy over on M3 Cutters does it. On my last M5 I bought an Eisenmann but didn't want to spend £1500 again. It sounds just right.

Lovely car.

Didn't know Jason Statham was into photography though.

Awesome car mate.

The stance of the touring is epic. Just looks so much cooler than the saloon IMO. I'd have it over the saloon even if I didn't need the space smile

Bloody amazing cars. Terrifying Bork potential but love the fact they made these-an absolute guarenteed future classic.

Looks absolutely stunning. Not that it matters with such a ferocious engine, but doesn't the Touring weigh like 100 kg+ more than the saloon?

Hi there.
I've also got a black estate. Under warranty.
Can I ask what the position of BMW was in the end, as I agree its far too quiet..

Nice looking car, and that V10 is epic and I would love that in my life!

Im not normally a fan of estate cars but the M5 is just right.

Lovely.

Now I'm no Max Power type but that looks like it would benefit from some spacers.

Great cars, although I prefer the other wheels.

Get BMW to replace your wiper relay too as that's the reason why they're not 'parked' properly.
