A fast estate you say? Subaru Forester STI
Discussion
How are you going through the suspension refresh? Interested to know what parts and where?
Got STi knock and the shocks need doing, finally diagnosed after replacing all bushes and the CV joints. Currently toying between Pedders shocks/springs and Meister R coilovers that have had a good review from another FSTi owner, who also took me for a spin and they felt good.

Same, same. I've got more than knock, its bouncy and doesn't settle well definitely the last thing to do.
Brown pants took me out for a spin and it was good, plus he's using his as a family car. My only concern with coilovers (ignoring other people's) is I'm not going to play around. It's fit and forget. Which is where the Pedders fit in and that Sport Ryder kit does look nice.

Could you provide a link? I'm only seeing a JDM only, and naturally discontinued special, and Impreza coilovers.
Cheers for the suggestion.
Obviously, not listed for the FSTI, but the correct Impreza ones would bolt straight up. You know it makes senseCheers for the suggestion.

There were a lot if good models in the subaru line up of this era. The newage imprezas, the FSTI, fast Legacys.
By comparison the current line up looks a lot less exciting.
Really like the forester though. I had the MeisterR coilovers on my impreza and they were really good, far exceeding my expectations for a unit in that price range.

If you're still reading, I went for the Pedders SportsRyder kit on the FSTi and it's pretty good. Like stock but better and not hard or floaty. Takes a bit more to become unstuck.
Bit of a thread revival here but just picked this up this week!
49k miles
Legacy Tuned by STI wheels
BC Coilovers
Cusco front and rear strut braces
Beatrush roof strut brace
HKS induction kit
Apexi axle back stainless exhaust
Modern pioneer head unit with reverse camera, DAB, bluetooth & subwoofer
It's brilliant! Need to play around with the coilovers a bit as they're a little soft at the moment but I'm impressed! Previous owner (who imported it) only covered 7k in 3 years and added a load of bits I'd have added myself saving me a fair chunk in the long run!
