because good, standard ones are hard to come by now.

Basically this. Plus people in my age bracket (33) now have the disposable income to buy/run these cars they didn't have when they were new. Decreasing supply and increasing demand = basic economics.

I have my eye on an RX7 next, but will probably make a bigger effort to move the Evo on when it comes off the road for winter.

A few from various shows over the last few weeks. Its had fresh paint on front/rear bumpers as well as a full machine polish. Suspension refresh and interior to sort now!

After posting in this thread I had a call from a nice man from Burnley, jumped in the car, drove over to Sheffield in the pouring rain and paid full asking.

Little bit sad now

Very, very minor mechanical differences, to the point that parts are completely interchangeable.
