Such a brutally single minded car, I absolutely love it, good for you mate : ) There are very few cars that make me go weak at the knees, this is one of them. Have you had it out on a circuit yet?

Never get bored of clapping eyes on this.

Which is all the more amazing as I get almost instantly bored of looking at the majority of Lotus stuff, other than a well sorted Esprit or facelift Exige

This turned up at work a few months ago. Its the one-off full carbon 'F1' GTE. Now resides in Scotland.
They look absolutely fantastic in the flesh, even better than pictures. Very jealous!

The owner of the carbon one originally bought a black one. The carbon one had been expected to go from Lotus to America, but the sale didn't go through. He found out about this and promptly sold his black one after only a couple of months and bought the carbon one from Lotus instead. Furthermore I understand that he has since bought a white one as well! That means he has already owned 3 of the 20 cars produced! That's just greedy!

These are stunning cars! As I have already mentioned on this thread, if Lotus have the patterns for the panels; use them.

A limited run-out edition of the 400 with the GTE body would be amazing

nice. would have preferred for the carbon weave to line up on door / front wing though. would have looked so much better. small details.

I'm now looking seriously at getting an Evora S, and seeing this thread again has done nothing to quell the desire...

So, so , so nice. What a proper bit of kit, I love it.

It's my personal view but I think the wheels are the weakest point of the car visually.

(awaiting the pitch forks and torches)

Oh wow. That perfectly treads the line between beautiful and aggressive I think. What a wonderful car.

It's absolutely gorgeous.

Has there been a registry established for the 20 cars? Can't be that hard to track them surely.

Obviously wouldn't want to give owners details away but simple ID of each chassis would be nice.

Yes there's a register of each of the 20 build numbers, listing colour, LHD/RHD, manual/auto, 2+0/2+2 and registration number, where known.

The country split is as follows:

12 in the UK
4 in mainland Europe
3 in Hong Kong
1 in UAE

Number 19 is still for sale in Switzerland:

So that last one is £115k
Just lovely, and a seriously tempting proposal at that price point I think..
How do the informed PH members feel about this car vs the Cayman GT4, both limited, similar money..

Cheers mate, is there a link to it or perhaps you could email me it?

Just out of curiosity really, I quite like registries of limited cars, got a few of my own on the go (XJR-15, McF1, 911 GT1, etc)
