Wow, that really is stunning OP!

This may be the first ever thread on PH where everyone's in agreement!

What a repulsive car. It is truly awful.

The OP should dispose of it quickly by selling it to me for all the money I have in the world. wink

I am loving these. I saw one near Aberdeen a couple of times and start looking in to them a little. Then I bumped into (not literally, thankfully!) another at Gleneagles. A quick question on the Lotus OC got a great response and it turns out there are four GTE in Scotland, including one in full carbonfibre. They use carbonfibre rather liberally. Very cool.

Saw one of these at the Mitton Hall supercar Sunday a couple of weeks back.

They look incredible in the flesh, very aggressive lines ....... photos cannot do this car justice.

Enjoy in good health sir!

So that last one is £115k
Just lovely, and a seriously tempting proposal at that price point I think..
How do the informed PH members feel about this car vs the Cayman GT4, both limited, similar money..
I'm not very informed, but I wonder how tempting that price is?

The GT4 is from Porsches GT division so going by the last ten (?) years or so it's probably reasonable to say the prices will stay up for a little longer. What about the Lotus though, how have the prices of their special editions held up? I think it is a lot more of an unknown quantity.

Vales aside and even driving impressions aside, I think the GTE is a far more desirable car. That much rarer and in my eyes that much better looking.

Just stunning.....i'm a fan of anything rare out on the roads, hence why I bought an Evora S, but this is just something else!

Stunning looking thing. Love the GTE "look" over the standard Evora.

Saw this car at the Sharnbrook Hotel Drive Out event back in April. Absolutely beautiful car in the flesh.

That is the best looking Lotus and one of the best looking cars, full stop, I've ever seen.

Backed up by a proper kerb weight, a hp figure usually reserved for concept lightweights never destined to be made and a manual gearbox in black. ..could this be the first new car I've fallen in love with in 10 years!

Yes I agree, that's a thing of beauty. Lotus really missed a trick not rolling that styling out to all the cars, or at least not making it an option.

So for £5k a standard Evora S can be upgraded to 430 bhp? Food for thought...

Mansory have some talented engineers on their team and they're very good at CF fabrication so it's not surprising Lotus/Bahar used them. You have to bare in mind that it's far more profitable for Mansory to build one off cars for customers than to do anything 'reserved' and mass production friendly.

The real question is if you have an Evora S, how much would Mansory charge to widen it and along with the £5k performance upgrade would it be cheaper or more expensive than the £115k GTE that's on sale?

Mansory do sell a similar body kit suitable for standard Mk 1 Evoras, but not quite as nice as the GTE, being not quite as wide and lacking the beautiful front louvers amongst other things:

I'd quite fancy a 09 Evora with that bodykit and the Komo-tec SC..
