Grandpas' E38 BMW

Secondly, and more positively, it's my first V8
I'm a couple of months into ownership, and it's an unbelievable car. So quiet and smooth. The level of comfort compared to my daily drive (impreza) is at another level. Sure, it's not the biggest engine in the range, but a 3.5 V8 is plenty enough I think, my name isn't Mr Esso BP McShell.
The car itself has the odd small dent here and there, I imagine Grandpas' spacial awareness has gone. So they'll be ironed out. A few bits of surface rust on the arches, but again, that can be sorted.
The engine is a peach. 63K on the clock. Full service history with BMW and all the paperwork from new, including it's invoice and options list. I'm a geek about such things Slight tangent: Car, K554HWT was part ex'ed against this E38, anyone know of its whereabouts?
Anyhoo, enough rambling, some pics (warning, there's quite a few):

Future plans for the car involve mainly keeping it standard, serviced and well looked after. I've added some G-funk 19'' rims. Obviously. In fairness, the standard wheel and tyre arrangement didn't really work for me. Far too boat like. The key is, it's reversible, I don't intend on making any permanent changes to the standard specification. Also, the standard wheels are in perfect condition, so they're now stored away.
I'll get the small niggles sorted and to be honest, it'll be a pretty damn perfect car. I'll still have it in 30 years (assuming I'm still alive) so who knows what will happen to the value. Sod all knowing my luck.
To say I love this car and of course, the man himself, is an understatement. Thanks Grandpa.

Here is mine:
A 728i in SE guise with 90,000 miles and wearing them very well indeed.
I have just completed a 3500 miles jaunt round Europe in it too.
