It’s been a good while since I’ve had something interesting! Mainy be spending all available funds on babies and kart racing. Both expensive hobbies. Ha.

Broke my wrist on the mountain bike over xmas. Doc prescribed no bikes or Karting for 6 months. With so much time on my hands I seem to have de-generated into my former self end ended up buying a daft car again.

This was sourced through a mate of mine at Hartech. It’s been Barry’s personal car for a while but the lads tell me he’s too old to get in and out of ‘em these days! (hope he doesn’t read this).

It’s not perfect cosmetically, The body is rust free but the paint is pretty well swirled, Something I plan on sorting. More importantly mechanically it’s absolutely spot on. The car has 80K on but feels really nice and tight to me having had a load of work done in Barry’s ownership including a full engine rebuild still under warranty.

I’m using it daily and loving it. I’ve even got a child seat in the back and a pram in the front so I can take the nipper out when mrs Scho is at work.

Happy days.

Took a few snaps last night:

interior is a bit funky... why not a normal colour interior?

The strange thing about the interior is when i originally saw an image of it I hated it.

When I actually saw it in the flesh I liked it but thought I'd have to make some changes to tone it down.

Now I actually love it...Even the pink carpets.

Its a grower, Infinitely preferable to black IMO. http://rennlist.com/forums/vehicle-marketplace/644...

I like the contrast against the black paint and it defiantly makes the 996 interior feel a bit more special. They can look a bit boring. You can call terracotta many things but boring is not one of them, Ha.

Love the interior. My favourite colour for the 996.

I most certainly wasn't REDy for the colour of that interior, it looks lovely regardless!

Nice.

Normal 996's are a bit meh but the C4S is very much more than meh - something soulful about it.

How quick does it feel and hoes the handling?

Very nice and surely there couldn't be a better place to source a 996 from!?.. Sounds like a good buy even if you decide not to keep it long (hope the wrist is healing up btw).

I like the red black contrast, it's very Porsche! Black interiors are just boring once you've spent a bit of time in one.

Enjoy sir!

Lovely example and I'm with you that the interior is more interesting for the colour.

Congratulations!

I was considering adding some red highlights to the interior on mine.... I think I'd only be playing catch up with yours though!

Lovely car. Mine has the Boxster Red interior also but with carbon trim. Quite common outside of the UK. I think it looks good. Much better than grey or Savannah/beige. Black is very safe but a bit dark inside.
