The ride is not that bad! What the hell has everyone been driving before their ST's, Bentley's?! . It's the over-assisted brakes at low speed that annoy me.
absolutely agree!! the ride is FINE, infact i enjoy my drive daily with it, its stiff but very well controlled. The ride's firm - for a Fiesta - but since my last car had KW v3 coilovers, the Fiesta's soft by comparison!
The over assisted braking has caught my wife out a few times . The sound symposer's the 'PITA' as far as I was concerned, buzzing like crazy at local motorway speeds.
Oi I'm only 22!!
I didn't think the symposer was that annoying, for me it only kicks in when accelerating. When in cruise it doesn't make any noise.
Going back to the ride, I suppose it's just down to preference. Since June/July I'm basically going to be doing about 20k miles a year, so recently it has been wearing me down spending 3/4 hours a day in it. When I was doing a simple 30/45min commute, I didn't mind, now it's become a pain though...!

I love the symposer! It's a masterstroke in my opinion. Proper inlet noise when you want it and not when you don't. I can cruise up to 100 mph in mine and don't get the "drone". This is a direction all should go in, rather than fake noise through the speakers.
I think it's great too.I'm after getting an exhaust for it though. Something I can remove. I'm hoping the ST has bolt flanges if anyone can confirm.
Anyone know much about the grahame goode induction kit.
Looks to be £330 for the kit.
I can then map at a later date.

This looks really appealing. I can flash back to standard myself.

For ease, the Bluefin handset's easy - but it's not covered under your warranty - and that's where Mountune's kit is prefereable on cars still under warranty.
ETA: SOMETIMES Bluefin stuff is cheaper on their website, or the owners clubs forums/websites may have group buy discounts ... induction kits too.

It was. My car on paper has gone from 225bhp to 265-270bhp and torque has gone from 250lbft ish to 330lbft, but numbers aside the drive has been transformed, previously you only really felt the turbo past about 5.5k (and it redlines at 6ish) and it would only boost to 3/4 on the gauge - now you get a bit of a shove at 2k then just before 4 you get full boost and really pushed into your seat. Well worth doing in my opinion!

It may or may not be delivered within the hour.
Don't get a Bluefin. It runs too much boost for the stock turbo and caused limp mode problems on mine, I used both maps available including GGR240 and they are poorly developed. Superchips had no idea what caused the issue at all so i parted company and sold the handset and filter, waste of money.
I went to a company called Peron afterwards and was blown away by the difference , so much so that I've now progressed to stage three hybrid! Results are outstanding and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
As for induction kits, the ggr one sits in front of the rad fan and is basically an overpriced K&n, Peron sell the ITG Maxogen kit which relocates behind the headlight and sounds amazing as well as giving proven power gains.

It's due to be updated in the next week with some exciting new products added.
Also my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/MGTurbo
Stage 1+ is a map and ITG for the same price as MP215, except you get 225bhp and 270lb ft. Not that you would ever get a problem with warranty but the map is easily removable and leaves no marker on the PCM.

I'll have to see how I get on mate. Will be keeping this thread updated.
Will let you know how I get on.

Not too late! They have a 7 day money back policy. Wouldn't fancy a return to 26psi boost spikes and throttle closure in the mid range so good luck.
I'll have 7 days to try it then. I generally haven't had a bad word spoken about them. I do appreciate your experience though. If not, Peron it is.
Have you got a gauge? I like the look of the JW racing item

I use the TorquePro app and OBD Bluetooth if i need to check the boost level. I had a Turbosmart boost gauge kit but took it out for the summer as it uses the dash vent.If not, Peron it is.

Bluefin is hit or miss. I had one on my Puma converted Fiesta and it overfuelled and was actually slower than standard. I also had one on my ST220 but made such little difference so I have a Dreamscience map for that instead, we have one installed on our Zetec S Mk7 and that has helped with a raised rev limit and better mid range, I have tried as i like the simplicity but too many issues and I wont buy one again.
