thats it, thats it done - the black rims work brilliantly!

It was an s2000 that we toured to the south of France in a few years back that swayed the decision to get a convertible again for this summer. Loved the s2000, yours is just the perfect colour. Ours was yellow and whilst we loved it, yours makes it look a bit more defined.

I prefer it really, I want to get the H badge removed from the rear too, but I see what you mean about it looking a bit naked, anyway here's a picture for the sake of it!
Car looks fantastic. The S2000 is the best car I ever owned for all round 'greatness'. I debadged the wings and it looked much cleaner. I think yours looks great without the bonnet badge.

I love them in yellow actually I think it's one of the best colours they did, I like that mine can blend into the traffic sometimes in grey though and not be too 'look at me'. I desperately want to get a standard exhaust back on it too to make it a bit more subtle. Thank you though!

Appreciate it mate thank you! Friends who have driven mine also say that it's a bit of an experience to drive, mainly because of the super low driving position and interior.

I think the S2000 has aged really well, although I was never a fan of the interior.

It is very basic inside but it's quite cozy inside with a hardtop on, I hated the blue leather interior when I was looking at them and wasn't a fan of the red, but I think the facelift red/black on mine is ok, red carpets door cards and seat inserts with everything else black. All black would have been my ideal choice though but the car was so cheap I wasn't going to walk away because of the interior colour smile

Speaking of the hardtop I got a photo of the back with it on:

the interior is of its age, and very nice too. Its certainly no worse than a 996 911 or other period cars, anyone looked in a late 90s early 00s Ferrari? Shocking

I'm finding myself really drawn to these as of late. I must also be one the few who actually enjoys and appreciates their minimalistic interior design? Love the colour on this car though.

Completely agree... but look at what TVR did.

Wouldn't stop me having an S2000 though.

Lovely S2K though prefer Nürburgring Blue - but them I'm biased ;-)

Just about to get mine a full respray - and change of wheel colour on the OEM 17's never thought a car would get as under my skin as this has, despite owning various porsches and other semi exotic metal - even more than the v60 polestar that fills the other slot in my garage.. Can't see myself getting rid of it and will continue to spend way too much money on it - but probably little more than I'd pay to finance another newer 2 seater.

After nearly 3 years and 15K miles all I've spent is regular maintenance and refurbishment - just heading out of the honda extended warranty I added to the deal when I bought the car from honda - and never needed to call upon.

Hope you continue to enjoy yours as much as I do mine...

Indeed but then if only they put as much effort into the rest of the car as they did the interior look!

From that period I have an e39 M5, the interior is still good by todays standards in my book as its clean and the materials used I feel are certainly nicer in many respects. The S2000 was very ergonomic and nothing inside that looks nasty even today, try saying that about a 996 or a similar period Boxster!

Had mine since Novemeber...it came with AEM, K&N and full Miltek...I changed the interior from full black to now include red seats, and door card inserts.
Coilovers, alloys.... REALLY enjoying the experience... likely to be a defining period classic, world's best 6 speed box, one of the world's best NA 4 cylinders if not the best...RWD....

Cracking car. I wish car companies were still trying to produce quality NA engines like this. Just seems like everything has to have a bloody turbo on it nowadays for emissions.

I picked up some new seats this week. They're very good condition Integra DC5 Recaro SR4:

The outside of the cars still looking pretty much the same, I'm on the lookout for a nice set of wheels still but I've not found anything yet I really like.

Thanks, I had a set of DC2 Recaros in my old civic. Most comfortable seats I've ever sat in. They have recaro runners on them at the moment so I'm either going to get them modified to fit the S2000 or I'm going to buy Bride RO rails to fit. Modifying the existing runners would be a much more cost effective way though.

Never did like the std seats, too high and lacking support. Loved the Recaros in my DC2, i guess these are pretty similar? Will be interested to see the results!

^ Agreed, coming from my Eunos with Sparco Sprints I felt the standard S2000 seats sat you a little too high, and I'm a short arse!! More of an observation than an issue though, doesn't put me off the car at all.

Likewise, the interior is simple, but driver focused and nice quality imo. When we were looking my other half decided she wanted Nurby blue, but with the black interior, as she hated the blue interior. This colour combo proved difficult to find as most seemed to be specced blue on blue, so after viewing a few dogs we decided to concentrate on condition and not worry too much about the interior colour. In the end a local car in nice condition popped up for sale, albeit with the blue interior - but the car was a good one so it was bought! Tbh, once you've had it a while the blue is not really a big deal...........dare I say it, a relief from the usual black.

Red would be my favourite, but not sure about that in a Nurby blue.

Those DC2 seats will look awesome in your Moonrock S2000 OP, can't wait to see some pics thumbup
