Cat, or Dog? Cheapo 1992 Jaguar XJS 4.0
Discussion
A year has rolled past, and the Jaguar has sat on its arse under a tarp, going nowhere. This was because reasons, but now I am thinking of waking the thing up again. The jammed boot has been fixed, so I can at least get in to charge the battery. I need to find a suitable place to take on a bit of welding and do a paint job, and then sort out a few bits and bobs under the bonnet.

HTH! Plans are afoot to get the XJS tarted up and roadworthy (cheers v8250), but knowing me I shall probably spaff the fixing-funds on some other heap. Why fix up one broken car when you can buy another one that will in turn become broken?
Yeah, well that happened. as you might expect. bks.November almost done, no progress, and I have accepted reality: The Jag is bound for eBay!
I spent all the money I could have spent to restore this car on buying other cars. Also, the Jag has emotional connections with a lost love, and that may explain why I haven't touched it. Someone else can do it up!

I had an XJS V12 for a few months a couple of years back. Had to sell it as I had no where to park as we moved flat - I loved that car and thought Id made a mistake selling it. Until I recently had a look at its MOT history only to find it was suffering tin rot judging by all the work that was being done. Bullet dodged me thinks.
They are two sorts of XJS on the market: ones with some rust, and ones being sold by liars or the deluded Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
