Activa V6, French stealth
Discussion
I used to have a 2.0 turbo Activa years ago, paid peanuts for it. Upped the boost to 1 bar with a nice air filter on it and it made 175bhp with a nice little chunk of torque, my mates dubbed it the 'turbo taxi' at the time as there were a few Xantia's about as taxi's although they were normal boring diesel models.
Absolutely great car

for those that don't know, this is the Activa SC.CAR set-up
1.Main accumulator sphere.
2.Front suspension sphere.
3.Rear suspension sphere.
4.Front active suspensions control sphere.
5.Rear active suspensions control sphere.
6.Anti-sink systems sphere (SC.MAC).
7.Front Activa sphere (SC.CAR).
8.Rear Activa sphere (SC.CAR).
The system runs up to 170/180 psi and residual/low vacuum/capillary for the leak-back pipes

Wheels (from donor) refurbished....the original ones (same type/style) are now off getting a higher grade powder coating.
Getting very excited by the handling of this car, I am enjoying its poise and predictability but think I will swap off the Continentals and go back to Michelin Pilots as they have a stiffer side wall and suit the SC.CAR system better reportedly.
I like the way they even park level, nothing more depressing than getting into a slanted cars is there

Citroen's shouldn't have an anti sink valve - it's awesome coming back to a "slammed" car after a couple of hours!
The new wheels look great
Cheers, they are a bit "silver", the other set will be the correct Citroen colour which was a darker silver. The new wheels look great
Just set it that way when you park if you feel the need
It freaks out the "young and uneducated" sitting behind you during the rare times at MacDonald's when you raise to max height to get the food easier from the window of the Drive-Tru...the things you can lip read via a rear view mirror

Very jealous of a V6 Activa!
They imported around 30 or so in Australia. One of which lives in my street, but I don't think the owner actually knows what they have...
v6? The official line was that the combo of v6 and Activa bits wouldn't fit around the RHD steering. They imported around 30 or so in Australia. One of which lives in my street, but I don't think the owner actually knows what they have...
LHD-land got 2.1TD and HDi Activas, but RHD only ever had the 2.0 turbo.

That car, it is very "do able" and has not yet sold (as far is known) for the silly money the vendor was asking. It will take a fair amount of work just to clean it up and solve its basic problems....but I would if i did not have a choice.
He did not "play" with a straight bat either which did not help, not telling folks what is wrong on a specialist forum is not cricket.....then to get upset when people see them (and more) from the photos.....
I even got an ACTIVA watch to go with it
one of the "LeBodges" I found when I inspected the car, this is the rear Active Ram, these are push/pull rams and this looked like stone damage.....they don't like gravel !
Made from "unobtainium" like many parts are now, donor cars are a total need with these as |Citroen are very harsh with old parts, many are NFP like these swirl degass pots. These btw are buried at the back next to the exhaust pipe which does the plastic no good and if they go pop, you loose your coolant to well below the heads
Spare Engine....to be rebuilt as a bit of a stormer
Brakes when purchased....HORRID
rebuilt..
Nothing needed under it, and it is 18 this year
I have fitted a can holder now .....VERY comfy Citroen leather electric seats with working side bolsters, better than those in the x7!.....GJ going backwards Citroen !
Hello sonny boy !

Hello sonny boy !
same as the one I had to change on my Talbot Express motorhome when the top outlet snapped off.
Whether it's the same on the Fiat/Citroen/Peugeot versions I'm unsure, but if it is it gives you a much broader scope to find them.
The angles of the outlets are wrong (been there), same with the Espace V6.
If the replacement starts to weep again I will have one made up in SS (the Ford Cossy boys use a similar design) and replace the hoses with Silicon.
This will be done once I get the other engine rebuilt and fitted anyway.
Not much space in there to start swapping hoses (originals not available now) and it takes fair bit of work to get down there.
