One very happy lady.

After a very long wait since ordering, she took delivery this morning smile

From this V6 Alfa GT:-

To this:-

Went for every option except the exterior graphics pack (thankfully)

Now to run it in frown

Cheers,

Simon

We've had it since almost new and done load of Europe's best road in it, lots of history & great memories. That said, it was like Trigger's broom. Lovely sound and power from the V6 but totally overwhelms the chasis, even with a slippy diff.

Time for it to go. Still got the V6 Brera & S4 Spider in the garage to play with.

Simon, that looks fantastic especially the colour!

Is it coming to the PH meet at the end of the month?

Hopefully you achieved a large discount on it?

Thanks. We did get a nice healthy discount but loaded the car with every option other than exterior graphics.

The seats are stunning & the new blue colour looks amazing.

The PCP deal meant financing it with HP or a loan wasn't worth it.

The wife gets a tidy company car allowance too smile

We also got GFOS & Silverstone tuition thrown in for both of us plus when the car was delayed, loan of the dealer Aero model for the duration. Free three year servicing too to compensate for the delay.

Toyota have been pretty woeful throughout but the dealer has been pretty much spot on.

Car looks fantastic although I am a bit biased having ordered a very similar one which I should be collecting tomorrow morning. Will have to start my own rival thread! Hope you and the wife enjoy it and I'll be interested to see how you get on.

Earlier cars had a traditional aerial.

It looks absolutely superb, great choice on the colour and options! cloud9

I really do like these cars and I also very much like the ethos of going lower power, less grip etc and tuning the handling to be a lot of fun!

I hope your better half enjoys it!

I didn't buy her anything....lol. Luckily, my wife is a petrol head, mainly due to a spinal injury I had in 05 so I couldn;t drive for 10 months and she got forced into taking my Alfa to keep the battery charged. I had to wrestle the keys off her afterwards and then she got her own.

I'd love an 86 but it's too low for me on a day to day basis, especially in the morning.

My daily is the Panda Cross but the V6 Brera is there when I want it and the Spider is the fine weather or holiday touring car smile
