Whilst I loved the 981 Cayman S, I fancied a bit more go.

A 3.8 engined Cayman would suit me fine, but since I missed the boat on the GT4, there is no PDK option (till today!) and the wing at the back is a bit too much for a daily driver, I bit the bullet and got a 991 GTS.

I wasnt looking for a cab, but Porsche Bournemouth pulled together a cracking deal on this demo car.. Absolutely love it.

Note the corroded centre caps are due to be replaced wink

Fantastic car.

I wasn't keen on cabs until I drove a C2S Cabriolet. The refinement with the roof up was more than acceptable.

I'm sure you'll enjoy that very much!

Thanks. Agreed on the roof. The main top section is hard which I guess helps..

Rubbish! Far too common, unimaginative. You should have bought an F type for half the price.... wink

Jokes. Lovely car and hopefully you've had a good few days with the roof down in this sun! Surprised it already has corrosion on the caps

Caps looked to be some sort of reaction to wheel cleaner. New set on order by the dealer. NINE HUNDRED QUID!

Thanks. Biased but agree - wasnt a fan on the 997, but think 991 does look good.

Do they all have the old-school spoiler/grille thingy? Looks amazing.

Love the retro stuff on new Porsches - remember the Fuchs alloys on the Sport Classic? Fantastic.

Which bit? Bit between the lights in black is a GTS thing - red light on the 4, black grille on the 2....
