The gauges look original, where does the speedo and rev counter come from?

Blake, what interior has the car? any pictures, how often do you use it?
Full black leather interior from the Mondeo, (very comfy) I use the car as much as I can in the summer months, I will be out and about tomorrow for probably the last time this year:-( done the Lakes tour this year with the car and got a very mixed reaction from the woolly hat brigade they just could not get their heads round it

Brilliant Blake, almost standard looking.
A big pet hate of mine is when people put things in like a digital dash, and other such tacky cack.
Again the idea was to keep it looking old skool, but its far from it, one of the most difficult thing I done was the dash, if you look closely you will see the clocks are actually from the Mondeo but still look like the iconic six pot dash from the Mk1

yip I've heard of you and will finally meet up at the wedding. The Mex is a good period car and goes well, but it's a reminder of how far we have come in transport i.e. Motorways the Mex hates them, but the Mon is very exciting car you can have the best of both driving experiences as it's a mix of old but up to date drive train and just loves a Motorway, see you soon

I disagree.

Our receptionist frequently calls me a dick, a proper dick, a total dick and a complete dick, so I feel qualified to call myself a dick. And I'm not going to criticise it either! Very nice car.

I think he is hinting at the floorpan making it a car that should be classed as kit car, or needing SVA tested.

Many restored classics get complete floor pans fitted, also many of these floors are not original Ford panels is that Ok? mines happens to be original Ford floor pan but just a different shape
