Sir you have the gonads of a huge bullock ! This thread makes me so tempted to grow a thick beard and buy such a vehicle, engine access alone is enough to drive a man insane ! Love it….

the engine access is no problem and fairly conventional-just everything else that is all unusual..

Just dropping in to offer congratulations. That LWB spec adds delightfully to the torpedo-y shape.

We were promised a future of flying cars and atomic motors... And Citroen seemingly delivered it, what with this visionary design.

agreed! also astonished how perfect the dash layout works-superb when compared to the crap in the 208 I drove the other week

I don't believe you! CX handbrakes NEVER work for more than two days after any MOT.

Huge respect for an excellent left field purchase. Their time to become a seriously desirable classic must surely be nigh.

Hat's off to the OP - they're wonderfully eccentric. I always wished I'd pulled the trigger on a CX Turbo 2 that I was offered in the mid-nineties. Hope you can restore her smile

I keep reading with a smile.

My old man was addicted to these silly french cars with their go go gadget legs, I could never understand them as a kid and looking back I cant understand his love for them now because he was (still is) hopeless at anything car related and they were always going wrong!

We had a GSA, about 3 BX's and 2 Xantias. Never the big spaceship XM I wanted as a kid though mad

I remember the GSA mainly due to the fact I filled the upturned cassette deck with space raiders when I was about 6 cool

Strangely I have a massive itch for one of the above now, odd eh?
