Yes it went on eBay for good money but its created a bit of a messy situation which I will explain better when all is sorted. And it seems a bit too good to be true so im a bit suspicious until the money is in my hands.

Yes im on alert a bit as something seems fishy. He said he is coming tomorrow though and wants to pay cash on collection. Not quite sure what else to worry about as long as i thoroughly check the notes.

I have emailed a couple of questions to him as he only set up the ebay account yesterday and has already bid on 3 other cars. I have another buyer lined up for my original private asking price so the car will be gone by wednesday one way or another

As expected the ebayer was a time waster. A local guy who saw the sign in the window last week has just came round and gave me my original asking price for the car though and just taken it away.

In the end I broke even exactly with parts and purchase price so I am happy, he is happy with his shiny new Jag so a good result all round and a nice ending to this thread I think
