Always felt my GTI wasn't a bad steer... must just be the tractor engine that did it wink

I've the same car in red and hate the quad exhausts.
Have you managed to find anyone that'll offer a two x single solution without the valves?

Nope, I had resigned myself to the fact that I would need to get a custom exhaust fabricated.. along with an aftermarket/custom rear diffuser to accomodate the new system. I never went further than the crude mock ups in this thread (I'll have to re-upload some of the photos) either, but I cannot imagine that it'd be a cheap exercise. I was around £600 for a 3" turbo back system on an Impreza about 10 years ago, so given that this would be more complex and a decade later, I thought that I'd be looking at around £1000-£1500 depending on how difficult it turned out to be.

EMP in St Albans are offering custom exhausts for the Golf R for under a £1k, and have done a few on the MK7's in the style of the Mk6 with the twin exhaust exits. They had a group buy going on VWROC and have received some good praise for the quality of their work.

Reiger then offer an offer the shelf rear diffuser to match up for around £250 IIRC.

Here they are unwrapped, they are 19" x 8.5" versions of BBS CH-R in gloss anthracite ....
Hi Grant,

I ordered BBS CH-R rims for my Golf 7.5 R, same as yours. After a few days, I got a message from the seller that for the Golf R and these rims, 5 mm spacers were required. Unfortunately, then it will no longer be the ET 48, but the ET 43. I suppose it will cause abrasions / scratches to the front fender or fender bolts. So I would like to stay with the ET 48. Do you confirm that the Golf R requires 5mm with these rims? Did you have to use them? The seller was unable to answer the question why the distance is required. I don't know what to do now, maybe I should choose a different rim model? :-(
