Really appreciate cars like these, the camera work is amazing also!

I know who the Supra belongs too aswell, both stunning!

I think they look better with the wing-mounted side indicators changed from orange to clear, looks a bit less 90's. It's the only non-standard thing on mine.

Oh my word, what a car. It looks stunning in the studio shot and even more so out on the moors with the Supra.

This! Ford Probe/Mazda MX-6 ones are identical and seem much cheaper the RX-7 ones, for some reason. Presumably even eBay Powersellers take pity on those few remaining Probe owners hehe

Enjoyed catching up on the thread and absolutely adore the car. FD's are one of my all time favourite cars.

Very nice photography work too, from one tog to another.

More please, perhaps with better visibility across the landscape?

I've got to admit I've never really looked at the side-repeaters and thought anything of them, but not sure they fit in now with the clear lenses on the bumper. Thanks for the tip about Probe ones!

Had a play with one of the studio shots today - unfortunately haven't really found the time between jobs to work on my own stuff. Should look nice printed on metal in the garage though hopefully.

Great job well done! How many miles do you have on the new engine? Can you rev it all the way yet?

Thanks chaps!

Put around 850km on the new engine. For all intents and purposes it probably is run in by now, but with the Apexi PFC still away being repaired I darent push it hard yet.

Fantastic mate, all 3 of my favourite jap cars that don't feature a red H on the front.. (and that's coming from a Celica owner!)

So glad to see a rx7 in the right hands, so painful to see so many either ruined by chavs or left in a garage, there's still hope for me to own one in the far away future!

Hope you don't mind, I've set the Supra and the FD as my background! What a lovely photo and lovely cars.

Cheers folks. Been too busy to get round to editing this studio set, here's another basic shot for now:

Thanks guys. Lighting is dead-easy on this - two studio heads fired at the walls and floating-roof.

Nice! Did you use a studio background of any sort or is it cleaned up in post?

Sorry yes, should have mentioned! I'm partnering up with a studio to do automotive shoots so I used my car as a bit of a practice session. Here's a quick BTS, though set-up for a different shot. As you can see, I don't use a lot of kit. In fact I prefer using one-light and compositing the frames together.
