1992 Mazda RX7 Type-R
Discussion
Ten years ago my friend and I got the cars together for a quick pic while we were out and about. I stumbled across it the other day, nice bit of nostalgia.
Unfortunately I managed to write that MX5 off but he still has the DC2, which is now a fully-fledged track car. We decided to update the shot in the same place with our current toys.

Lovely car and some great photography work there.
Good to see an RX7 on it's correct wheels, one of the best looking OEM sports car wheel designs IMO, I have a set of those on my MX6...
Thanks, glad you like the wheels too. I think me and you are probably the only ones who agree though Good to see an RX7 on it's correct wheels, one of the best looking OEM sports car wheel designs IMO, I have a set of those on my MX6...

Car looks amazing. Do you still look back at it when walking away after parking it up?
Absolutely - I don't think the novelty of owning it will ever wear off. It's interesting to see it still gets a good reception among younger lads too, most of whom I would have thought won't know what it is.Ash - I will once the service/MOT are done and dusted!
After a huge wait, finally got another Apexi fitted along with a decat and booked into Rotary Revs for mapping in their shiny new dyno cell!
Unfortunately it wasn't to be and a turbo control fault on the secondary means I'm quite a way down on power at the moment. She's booked back in for another crack though so fingers crossed!
