How it looked when I left for work was the pictures above. Just home now so grabbed some pics. Only spot welded in place for now. Also yes I know it's not 100% perfect but it's my mate doing it for beer money.

Slowly getting there smile

I took the front seats out, the carpet up to the centre console which I need to remove to get the last edge of the carpet out. The sponge st below it is absolutely dripping, assumed to have come in through the holes at the bases of the A pillars.

Not a lot has happened to this. Got a old set of wheels my mate used to have on a polo, won't be there forever. Sick of the old tyres going flat so these are just for rolling around purposes.

Can't remember what I've posted up to date. A friend of my mums boyfriend is due to do the timing belt soon. Welding is almost finished (being done while I'm in America right now). Will be attempting to do all the bodywork myself in the evenings after uni. Brakes/suspension etc are jobs I'm going to do after the body is finished. Got a set of 17" team dynamic wheels off a friend for free as the 15" polo wheels wouldn't clear the front brakes.

Why don't you do the timing belt yourself? Shirley they don't get much easier than on one of these?
Never done one before and don't want to fk it up. Are e30's that easy to do it on?
