Ah, sounds like it. Let’s hope so.
Must admit, I’ve always preferred your 9-5. Glad you got it back.
It's a much better daily driver, especially given it has SOME sound deadening. 9k needed constant attention. Would like to try a big turbo one day on this 9-5 but for now the 19t is fantastic.Must admit, I’ve always preferred your 9-5. Glad you got it back.
As I don't want to compromise on interior comfort, day-to-day usability and practicality, a clever way of saving weight I feel would be fibreglass bonnet and boot. Not sure how much it would compromise on safety though but here's roughly how it'd look (would be flush with no badges front or rear). In theory it should save around 50 kg.

That doesn’t equal more hp though .
Have I said anything about more hp?I want to get some nicer sound out of the car too you know, atm it has a Stage 1 E85 tune with about 265 HP (need to replace a lot of things to be able to push a bit more out of it), but the MapTun Sports Filter didn't do anything for the sound so I want to put in a open air filter, it's a lot easier than moving the air-mass-meter and putting in a open dump.

That’s decent for a stage 1 tune , is that new downpipe and cat as well ?
Well, considering normal is 250 HP for a 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero, 15 more isn't that much really. My old 2005 9-5 SportsWagon 2.3T had a 273 HP BSR Stage 1 in it (but no E85), since it's pretty much the same engine as the Aero, just downtuned to 220 HP from factory, instead of the regular 250 HP as in the Aero.
Unfortunately that car got hit by someone that don't know the right-rule, and fixing the front would have cost close to 40k SEK, when the insurance company valued the car at 19k SEK, so they said no to repairing it, even when the blame was 100% on the person hitting it.
Eventually I'll replace the downpipe, cat, fuel injectors and so on (already got a RXP fuelpump, 251 LPH installed), bit by bit improving and increasing the power (know a guy that's really talented with tuning and such, he personally owns 14+ Saabs, and among those many 9-5:s)
