Can't put my finger on why, but I prefer the old style lights with that spoiler. You going to source a rev 3/4 spoiler ?

Agreed, it does look a little incongruous.

I'd really love to get a Rev5 spoiler, but they go for really strong money and I've still got loads of little jobs to do on it first.

Rev 3 spoilers are different to the Rev 5 as you probably know. It's quite easy to source a rev 3 spoiler attached to a bootlid so it's an easy swap, and you just need to plug or fill the holes from the old spoiler.

As your car stands now is very similar to how most Americans run theirs, with the Rev 3 lights and Rev 1/2 spoiler.

Thanks Dan,helpful information.

I've spent a couple of hours this morning giving the MR2 a thorough detailing, just to see how bad the paintwork was under a fairly embedded layer of grime and road debris. The spoiler is really poor, the paint looks as though it's been poorly touched up on it previously and now going again, so maybe a new bootlid and spoiler is on the cards! scratchchin

It's been on the drive for the last 48 hours as well in the biblical downpours and very high winds we've had in the southeast and the T-bar doesn't leak either, which is a bonus.

Otherwise, I don't think it's looking too bad for 25 odd years old.

Looks good to me! I spent Saturday sorting my paint too. Being white it had a really noticeable later of grime and stains and it really bothered me. I'm chuffed with how well mine came up with just a few hours of cutting and polishing. I still need to clean and wax it but it got dark and then the weather started.

Sounds like we're both lucky to have dry interiors after this rain and wind! smile
