I like the car and the diesel element as I am a fan of remapped diesels, not to your extent thou. I haven't got a clue about BHP thou so can't comment but watching the videos on youtube the company does seem to know its stuff, and the engine were built in an a bygone era where quality and longevity mattered.
If I had a few spare quid would defo look at one of these.

Could be that they weigh over 200 kilos of course...I like the car and the diesel element as I am a fan of remapped diesels, not to your extent thou. Anyway, my brother in law some years ago built a car to try and and capture the world land speed record for diesel engines, which I think was 300 mph ? back then. I believe he used a 16 cylinder truck engine (cummings ?)
that drove a propeller on the back, as oppose to any drive system to the wheels.
he didn't manage it, but one hell of a home build !!
Now that required more detail - photos - anything at all....that drove a propeller on the back, as oppose to any drive system to the wheels.

think of a thunderbirds rocket type thing. two wheels on pods at the rear. massive long cylinder body.
engine itself was so big and numb it was part of the structural build.
a cockpit- in line
and one single massive wheel at the front.
we did take it to the isle of barra, to test drive on the islands runway- which is the beach of course- massive, hard and flat. perfect !!!
it did work and drive, but never got to the speed he wanted.

Goes like buggery? It's got sod all powerband and, when the boost comes in, it'll just sit there spinning its tyres. 400bhp much more achievable in far nicer fashion from the straight six or V12 (the latter was 396bhp stock in basic 6-litre form).
Can you not leave one thread, just one thread alone?Go back to your gutless 5 series, nobody cares.

PH messaging hasn't worked for some time. Like so many problems with this site, all we get are assurances that "we're working on it".
Perhaps you should ask for a refund, or even better......Edited by anonymous-user on Thursday 11th February 09:22

This would be better that would be better, my god some of you can be bloody tedious at times. There's is no real why for the OPs car just a why the bloody hell not! Life's more fun when you do something that shouldn't really be done. I have a Reliant Rialto with a power output of just a tad over 140bhp and weighs only 450 kilos, it horrendous to drive serves no purpose whatsoever makes no sense either it just is.
I like the OPs car it's different good drills OP.
Is there a thread on this Rialto?!I like the OPs car it's different good drills OP.

I didn't bring my cars into this thread. I had no intention of doing so. "Gutless" is not an accurate description, but I'll leave it at that. I was merely backing up Max Torque in rubbishing the claims made for this car's performance.Go back to your gutless 5 series, nobody cares.
